New Partner - David Morrison joins The Khan Partnership

David is a partner in the Commercial Department and has extensive experience of corporate, commercial and property matters, focusing particularly in the leisure, media, technology and property development sectors.  

Working closely with other advisers to structure transactions in a tax efficient manner is a key feature of David's practice. He has been involved in implementing structures for high value property transactions (up to £100m) so as to mitigate SDLT (stamp duty land tax) and recently he has acted for non UK domiciles in connection with their business affairs.  

Other recent instructions have included: the sale of a 250 bedroom London hotel; a joint venture arrangement relating to the exploitation of a software product; establishing an EMI share option scheme for a small but growing recruitment company; advising on a R&D collaboration agreement between telecom companies; acting for an Irish bank taking security over UK property and acting on the sale of a family company.
